Treaty of versailles was treaty ,treaty for peace to maintain peace between GERMANY AND THE ALLIED POWERS 

it was treaty of versailles held responsible germany for being the cause of war and have them payed all the dues which were caused by WW this was an spark GERMANY to stand up against the ALLIED POWERS.

i dont think that independance was all about gandhi cause if one person wont do the job than other guy would do it if not now but someday some one will do it
